Tengu Sushi And Seafood Buffet

I will not be returning! We ordered three rolls, and they were disappointing. One had an unappetizing brown substance, so we ended up discarding it. We asked for extra soy sauce with our meal but only received two tiny plastic packets. The wasabi tasted grassy, and the "salad" consisted of large chunks of iceberg lettuce that weren’t fresh. The coconut shrimp was covered in a strange mayo and powdered sugar glaze that was unappetizing. The hot and sour soup was decent but needed some soy sauce to enhance the flavor. Overall, it was $40 wasted.

The little I did manage to eat did not sit well with me—I'm now racing home to be near a bathroom. I'm serious, avoid this place at all costs! The staff was extremely rude, and the overall atmosphere was dirty and rundown with terrible food. It's infuriating to give them even one star; they don't even deserve that much. I really hate writing reviews like this, but this is genuinely one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. To make matters worse, we ended up spending almost $70 for three people. What a complete waste of money!

If I could give a negative review, I certainly would. $45 for two people is outrageous. The hot food was lukewarm, and the sushi wasn't kept at a safe temperature. When I raised my concerns, the young staff member, who was polite but clearly uninformed, responded that the rice keeps the fish cold. Last time I checked, rice isn't a refrigerator. Raw fish should never be out of refrigeration above 40 degrees. There was still no offer of a discount. I'm left hoping I don't get sick. The sushi that was served looked dry and warm, and I'll be contacting the health department about this. Overall, the quality of the food doesn't justify the high price.

Delicious selection of all you can eat foods. A wide variety of sushi. Cute menu on the storefront consists of cartoon shrimp and crawdads. I loved the sesame balls filled with dates and the fried banana. There are of course lots of other choices (40+ , including orange chicken, shellfish, eel, and peanut chicken. I personally found the desserts to be lacking, I really wish they would have had some sort of a pudding or brownie, but that does not detract from such a solid experience. With this many ways to customize your meals, make sure to eat up and get the most out of your money!

The staff was very friendly. We arrived about an hour before close and they made it clear that they didnt have fully stocked fresh food since they were closing soon (which is totally reasonable since it cuts on cost and is less wasteful). The staff was very amenable to cooking specific dishes on request from the buffet line that may have been low or not as fresh. I appreciate the practically and the outstanding customer service this establishment has to offer.
