Zeus Street Greek - Rosebery

We tried the 'Papou Niko' pita with pork, slaw, aioli, caramelized onions, and parsley for $11, as well as the 'Tzimmy chicken' pita with chicken, tomato, tzatziki, onion, paprika, and chips for $11.50. The only downside was that the fillings could have been more generous, but overall, the service and ambiance were great for a casual meal. We would have given it 5 stars if not for that.

The Rosebery restaurant offers an authentic atmosphere with a spit roast cooking up a delicious aroma. I tried the BYO Spartan box with lamb off the spit, aegean slaw, village green salad, and beetroot hummus. The meat was perfectly marinated, tender, and juicy. My dining partner ordered the 'From the Spit' meal with flame-grilled chicken, tzatziki, and lemon pita bread, which was also delicious. We couldn't resist the grilled Cypriot halloumi cheese and pita bread on the side. The portions of dip were small, so we ended up ordering more bread. The food at Zeus Street Greek reminded me of my travels to Greece, and I can't wait to return to try more dishes. It's great to see they have multiple locations in Sydney. The waiter service is friendly and efficient, and the food is top-notch. Unlike some other reviews, I have no complaints about the quality of the food. The lamb I ordered was freshly cut off the rotating spit and was delicious. On all three of my visits, the food has been well-presented and delicious. The Spartan Lamb Box was a good size and the lamb was incredibly tender. The salads and dips were mouthwatering and the Feta Oregano chips were a tasty treat. I recommend downloading the Zeus app and paying in-store with it to earn points towards rewards and discounts on future meals. Overall, Zeus offers quick, easy, and healthy Greek street food that is a bit pricey, but worth it for the quality.

This is a great option for lunch for the businesses in the area. I love the Chicken Pita, Been 4 times and always have the same thing. Service is quick and friendly. Food is great and ambience perfect for lunch.

I have come here a few times and every time it was been very simple to order but have had to wait a while for my food to be ready. <br/ <br/ The fitout of the restaurant is very nice and clean and it is a part of the Sapporium complex in Rosebery. <br/ <br/ The food is tasty and filling and it's nice to have a quick non fast food option to go to when all you want is a Gyro.
