Da Franco - Roma

What a great find. Great food, wonderful local atmosphere and thoroughly impressed. Franco was front of house and directed a small team that made sure all the assorted customers were happy. Not only the spaghetti with lobster, the house wine but also the complementary pitted warmed olives and the tray of roasted capsicum shared around the restaurant by Franco. We felt we had a local Rome dining experience.

We stumbled upon this restaurant when we were looking for a different one and we were happy that we did. It was Friday lunchtime and full of locals. The food was excellent, the service friendly and the prices excellent. Well worth a visit!

Had a very pleasant meal here Franco is very welcoming and cheerful. Cosy local restaurant serving mainly seafood. The cabonara was very tasty and well prepared. House wine very nice, in a bottle, Chardonnay from Sicily. Enjoyable evening meal.

What in Buenos Aires we would call a sketch, but in this case in Rome and with the best Italian food. The attention is excellent, the quality of the products and their variety are magnificent. The only thing missing is the nonna saying Mangia che te fa bene!, but that task is delegated to Franco that fulfills it to the last consequences.
