Bergstadens - Roeros

After an eventful day in Røros, we stopped in for a beverage while waiting for the train home. We were greeted by the very cheerful Anna, who’s conversation and helpfulness put the cherry on the top of the day. The ambiance and fit out of the bar, as well as the prompt service is provide us with a great experience. Well worth a visit should you be passing.

We found this hotel excellent in several aspects: the breakfast, the lounge area by the fireplace and the friendly staff. The only drawback was that we specifically requested a quiet room facing away from the main road, but still got a room facing the road. It's an older hotel, but quite nice! Absolutely the best possible location for accessing all the sights by foot. Very good buffet breakfast (included), free parking. Good value for the cost.

Really good breakfast and cosy atmosphere. The bed was comfortable

What a great place to stay. The breakfast is amazing. The food is all local favorites and super fresh. We stayed up one night and played cards in the lobby and it was perfect. The rooms are kinda small but that didnt really bother me. I have nothing but great things to say about the hotel and staff. We dont speak Norwegian but everyone there spoke English very well.
