That's Amore - Rockville

We were disappointed to be greeted by the host with zorn. he said our table was not ready, because we had arrived too early. we were not more than 5 minutes before our planned time. they needed 15 minutes to put together a table for 13. but there were 7 on the reservation. he never asked about our name, prepare the wrong information about the book, and thought we were another party. then they tried to put us on a table for 6. with huge family-style settings, that was ridiculous. our server did their best to make the situation better, but there was no return from this. the manager came out to apologize for the kind and wise as we were treated, but nothing was done differently than to say, I'm sorry. Eat was just okay, and we have with an acid taste in our mouth of the treatment we receive. it made my husband; the birthday party a real downer. we will not come back, nor would we suggest it to friends. what a shame.

I was initially hesitant after reading some mixed reviews, but I wanted to find a place to make reservations for the night before Mother's Day. The food was fantastic, and the service was even better than what we've experienced at other restaurants lately. It might have been because it wasn't overly busy that evening, but I certainly had the best dining experience I've had in years that night.

We visited That's Amore for an Easter brunch and were very impressed by the variety and quality of the food.

Had a dinner with colleagues from work at That's Amore. Had not been there for some time. The service was outstanding, very welcoming. Appetizers were delicious, the entrees large for sharing and wonderful. We also had the dessert sampler! Yum! It was a very enjoyable meal and family style was perfect!

I went to dinner last week and noticed there's a new chef, along with some new items added to the menu. The roasted Brussels sprouts were fantastic!
