Cookhouse Bistro - ROCKTON

The local restaurant was charming, with a friendly and welcoming waiter. The food was of excellent quality, especially the fish and chips, classic burger, and raspberry pie a la mode. Our meals came out quickly, making it a great pit stop before heading to the African Lion Safari.

I am hesitant to leave a positive review because I don't want the restaurant to get any busier, but I have to say, it was absolutely fantastic! The steak was incredible, especially with the mushrooms and onions (even though there was an extra charge, it was definitely worth it). The staff were exceptional and made sure to comply with all Covid-19 guidelines. We will definitely be returning!

Fantastic little gem hidden in this small town, absolutely everything was delicious, but I was dissappointed that they weren't selling pies to take home! Wish i could have bought them all!

The French Onion soup was delicious and I really enjoyed my salad. Our server was so friendly and gave us the best service

Perhaps more suited for an older crowd, but the food was delicious and our server was delightful.
