Bidra med feedbackOrdered two burgers and a reuben, all with fries to-go. It ended up costing almost $40, but it was for a relative in the hospital, so I was willing to splurge on a nice meal. We asked for the burgers to be cooked medium and I understand that carry-over heat often brings a medium burger up to medium-well or well done, but these were borderline burned. One of the worst burgers I have had in my life. It's a shame that this was the first thing my family had to eat after coming out of a coma. The cook should be ashamed to send anything of that quality out of the kitchen.
I had a LATE lunch, early dinner at Ashley’s. I’ve driven by this restaurant everyday for a while and have been interested in hopping by. The prime rib was good, the fat was not chewy at all. So great. I hate when it’s chewy and not easily cut like butter. Two dinner rolls for me and I totally ate them both. So many little butter packets were given and so many remained behind. My waitress was very attentive and I could hear and watch the locals down below talking sports. It’s a chill atmosphere, parking is good, if you can get a spot early- otherwise good luck to you. It’s incredibly popular and I’ll probably make a repeat visit in the future.
The atmosphere was awesome, staff especially Crystal/Krystal was great, prices are reasonable. There are earthbounds/ghost present, I went to the ladies room and the lock unlocked and then locked back, there's a man there who likes to raise shirts and skirts... I am glad we drove the 115 miles to visit.
Stopped in for lunch and had a great experience. Service was very friendly and efficient. The western burger did not disappoint. The history and character of the building was probably the best thing about it all. Prices are slightly higher than I'd like to see based on the products, but overall a decent place.
There’s something about the crinkle fries… I haven’t figured out why/how they’re so tasty. The regular fries are meh, so splurge for the crinkle cut fries… or the onion rings! I’ve been to Ashley’s three time (so far), getting the French dip each time (get it with the cheese to ensure that the yummy bread gets toasted). I need to expand my horizons. I love the atmosphere. It’s not so much the ghost as the hanging place and second-floor seating that make it feel like a welcome home.
