Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Rock Springs

I had never dined at one of these restaurants before, but it was definitely a fantastic experience. The food was both delicious and affordable. As soon as I walked through the door, the amazing aroma let me know I was in for a treat. I just wish we could have one of these in Kentucky!

The BBQ Chicken was delicious, but the hand-cut fries were not cooked all the way through. They weren't soft enough.

I ordered the three-meat plate, but they were out of both types of sausages, so I had to substitute with brisket and chicken. The pecan pie was really small, and my tea came without any ice. Additionally, there were no utensils provided for eating. The roll was as hard as a rock. On a positive note, the chicken and brisket were decent.

The bark on the brisket was so tough that neither I nor my dog could chew it. In my last few visits, I've ordered extra Texas toast, but it has always been forgotten. If you no longer offer Texas toast, please remove it from your menu.

The Giant Baker with Meat was really good! Wish I had received my Spicy Barbecue Sauce it would have been better. The Westerner Sandwich Plate was eh! The sanwhich was just meat and bread and the bread was moister than the meat and the bread could have been a hockey puck months ago! The sides were good. Did not receive the Mac Cheese I had ordered!
