Came here for breakfast, wasn't disappointed. Delicious food, fast service and friendly staff gave this restaurant many southern hospitality. I've tested the hash brews with jalapeños and onions, I've never had them so spicy before, would definitely order this style again! Many tropical Murals on the walls show that the restaurant was a kind of tropical cafe before, but there is a whole quirky look. I have to come back for lunch and try out the rest of the menu.
Over charged for hot dog plate that came with fries drink ordered hot dog plate that came with fries drink DID NOT GET 2ND PLATE GOT HAMBERGER PLATE DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO WAIT FOR A REDO CHARGED ALMOST $20.00 ridiculous the food traveled 1 1 2 block to hospital to eat with husband the food was COLD. Beware of all the fake friendliness they show, they need to do better with their to go orders. Was a costly experience but lesson was learned. WON'T GO BACK
Friendly on the phone when I called in my order. Casheir gave me an unwelcoming look. Also not sure if the men at the table to the left of the front entrance are employees or customers. They also gave me an unwelcoming look. The casheir was friendly to the gentleman before me yet with me not so welcoming. I will never recommend any friends or family to this restaurant. Might just be me when I say this yet I don't think they want my kind in the place. I do hope I'm wrong.
I honestly don't know why this restaurant has four stars. Zero stars if I could. Husband and I went in for lunch for the first time. Chicken tenders we're toddler sized. Chicken sandwich came on a hot dog bun, fries tasted freezer burnt, potato salad was a puree (no chuncks of potatoes at all! , Macaroni and cheese was just that... Greasy elbow macaroni with a topping of greasy melted cheddar. Not mixed or creamy at all! And I asked for BBQ sauce. Waitress said she was out, then scraped some up. What does that mean!? What restaurant doesn't have some form of bbq sauce?!?! And just to point out, besides us, the age range was mid 40's to 90's. Does not cater well to the younger crowd. While checking out, the restaurant was barely half full, and they run out of cups. I look back there and there's piles of dishes! Not appealing to those wanting to eat. I will never set foot near that restaurant again.
