Mcalister's Deli - Rock Hill

I absolutely love this place! The staff is incredibly friendly and always makes sure everything is perfect, plus they keep the delicious sweet tea refilled. I can't wait to come back here with my friends!

I was pleasantly surprised by my recent visit to this restaurant. I had a bad experience years ago that left me with a negative impression, but this time I decided to give it another shot. I ordered a sandwich and a side, and while it was a simple meal, it was incredibly delicious. I might have to return and try more dishes next time.

Because of the pandemic, they weren't able to offer dine-in service, but I still had a wonderful experience with their delicious food and exceptional customer service. I used to bring my late mother there every week, and the staff was always warm and welcoming to her. The dining area is spacious, and they also provide curbside pickup.

I'm not sure what's happened to the quality at this location. I understand that many businesses are short-staffed, and I don't mind waiting for food, which we did—45 minutes, to be exact. The issue is that our sandwiches and baked potato were barely lukewarm, and there were about six employees present with only a few customers in the restaurant. I'm perplexed about what the problem could be. If I'm waiting that long, I would expect my food to be at least warm. There seem to be fewer options for dining out these days. Also, the toilets in the ladies' room had rings—when was the last time they were cleaned? I’m uncertain if or when I will return.

The chicken sandwich was fantastic. Since it was a business lunch, I spent more time talking than eating. I ended up taking half of the meal home, and my wife loved the leftovers.
