Bidra med feedbackOne of the worst meals I’ve ever eaten. A steak knife was needed to cut the chicken. The white wine creamy sauce was runny, the salad had no dressing and it definitely wasn’t worth the money being asked for it. My cooking failures has been a lot nicer. Service: 3
Day trip to Rochester hopefully to put a small amount of cash into the place. Had lunch at the Rochester pub, service and meals were terrific.
Lovely pub. Staff were extremely friendly. Service was fantastic and quick. We had a steak sandwich and chicken schnitzel and salad and a few drinks from the bar. Food was delicious and prices were good. Definitely recommend this place to eat. We will be back Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$20–40
Lovely place great people with a great attitude meals are great definitely recommend
The Rochester hotel is the last place to find a lunch. I ordered a hamburger with the lot which turned into a steak sandwich. Not the biggest problem in the world. The undercooked egg was, while I like the Rocky movies, I do not wish to imitate Sylvester Stallone drinking raw eggs. The steak was not good had a fair bit of gristle and fat, the bread wasn’t even toasted. I got 3-4 chips as a side. For 23 bucks, is a slight rip, my partner had the chow mein which is more accurately described as beef mince mixed with whiskers cat food. If I could suggest a motto for the Rochester hotel food: it all goes in the same hole. Rochester has been battered with floods I would personally say this, support the town by buying pies and cakes from the bakery. Fuel from the Ampol, a yeti thermos from the hardware store or a pizza from Rochy pizza. If you do go to a pub go to the Shamrock pub because the atmosphere is better and the food isn’t questionable.
