Strangebird Beer - Rochester

Amazing place and beer. Great food. But it’s too busy and very slow to order a drink at the bar. There’s no clear line or ordering spot, so it’s frustrating to have to cut in between people who are seated at the bar. And it can’t take 10 or 15 minutes to stand in line sometimes. Or if there is one or two “order spots” that naturally open up, sometimes people will just order at a different spot between people at the bar and get served first.They need an “order here sign(s)” and another beer tender. Or maybe need to open their back bar more often.

First time visitor today. Highly recommend this place. The staff is so friendly. They serve great beers. Nice variety on the menu. We had the sausage pizza. Their homemade sausage is very good. Also tried the meatloaf sandwich. I would order it again. Great place to stop and chill.

Went with a very large group (kids and adults) with a variety of dietary restrictions on a Friday evening (no reservation). It was pretty crowded and loud but we were expecting it and made it work! Everyone had something to eat and they have the BEST beer!!! Would highly recommend.

Love Strangebird! They have a fun cocktail menu and great food options for gluten free folks. Their fried items are GF and made in a dedicated fryer, and as a celiac, being able to get a good piece of fried chicken at a restaurant is really exciting! Unfortunately they don't have GF buns yet (which is strange), but hopefully they change that soon.

Excellent pizza, beauty location. Really nice beers. We had a barrel aged triple that was perfect!
