Georgie Porgies - Rochdale

I ordered the big breakfast and a black tea, which was served outside in the sun. Unfortunately, the meal was a letdown. The sausages lacked flavor and seemed questionable in terms of meat content. The toast was soggy and tasted like a sponge, as the butter had already been spread on it. The hash browns and black pudding were not heated through properly. To top it off, the owner's dog wandered around the dining area and made himself at home near my table, ultimately leaving an unexpected surprise behind. Overall, my experience at this restaurant was underwhelming and I left feeling dissatisfied with the quality of the food and the unexpected visitor during my meal.

If you happen to come by, be sure to try a baguette with any fillings - they make great sandwiches. The breakfast options are a bit hit or miss, with the food quality not being great, but the muffins and baguettes are delicious. The service is good here, and the owners are a nice couple. I'm happy that the food truck is gone and now there's a café here for the winter months.
