Bidra med feedbackMy wife ended up calling the store and spoke to a woman who took our order, which was surprising because she remained so calm throughout the ordeal. As soon as I moved forward, the truck beside me also advanced without even placing an order. The lobby was closed due to COVID-19, but I still can't understand what was preventing the employees or manager from delivering better service. When I asked the manager if both grill lines were open, he said no. I noticed employees coming to the window while I was in line to see who was trying to get through at the intercom—spoiler: it was me. I felt like I was being intentionally ignored, which was incredibly frustrating. This experience encapsulates why I really dislike going to McDonald's in Robstown. Interestingly enough, I'm related to one of the employees, and he is just as puzzled as I am about how the manager on duty that night is still employed given the sluggish customer service. Although I initially defended the manager based on my past experiences, after this incident, I ended up explaining my frustrations to my wife regarding my relative's concerns. I’m reluctant to name names, but I’m seriously considering contacting corporate to share my dissatisfaction. And to make matters worse, when I got home, I discovered that my Hot N Spicy sandwiches didn’t have any cheese on them. I also didn’t receive a receipt, which I regret since it would have provided specific details about this encounter. I believe that leadership starts at the top; if the manager isn’t responsible for the poor service, then perhaps it’s time to reassess the decisions being made by his superiors.
