Jack Brown's Beer Burger Joint Roanoke

Whoever owns this place needs to pay attention to his staff...hard working, wait staff spot on, met us outside as we were getting ready to leave as we got there right at lunch time but they got us drinks and were attentive until we could get a table. We were near the kitchen area and watching these guys work their magic was incredible. I told them when we left they were like a well greased machine. The food flowed and clean the whole way. A lot of thought went into setting this place up every inch is used efficiently. I just sat there watching the flow and enjoying a wonderful burger and fries. Wow is all I can say. Take note manager you have a great crew let them know it's important. I will be back!

It's one of the best burgers in town. This is the Cobra Kai (or Jalepeno Popper without the jelly). Do not the JBs (aka Crack Sauce) sauce for the fries, and I highly recommend peanut butter with your deep fried oreo.

If you’re looking for smug unfriendly staff, this is your place. Thank goodness the food is delicious. I had the Cobra Kai. It was spot on full of flavor and cooked perfectly. My husband had a no frills grilled cheese as there are no non-beef substitutes available at this restaurant. The option of a turkey or black bean would be nice. I get it, it’s not that kind of place. I felt horrible having a great burger and my spouse having to eat like a kid. The sweet potato fries are great as well. If I was back in town, I wouldn’t revisit.

Phenomenal burger and bar! Loved the feel of the place, waitstaff super friendly, and the burger...wow. Got the Cowboy with side of fries, excellent burger, just the right size, very juicy, fries decently crispy. Would definitely hang there again.

Best burger I can remeber. Had the Gonzo, you should too. Fries were great and fried Oreos are needed.
