Bruster’s used to be great but the last three visits have been really subpar. Scoop portions are ridiculous, 3 scoops isn’t equivalent to even 2 and each of the last visits ice cream was melted considerably when handed to me . Chocolate shakes were runny barely any chocolate flavor. Not acceptable! Time to find another shop for ice cream!

Upon arriving, I was surprised to find that there was no indoor seating. The interior was dedicated to a wide variety of ice cream options, with large glass windows showcasing the menu prominently displayed outside. One side of the building featured an ordering and payment window, while the other had a pick-up window and some benches for enjoying ice cream on a sunny day. As we approached the ordering window, we were greeted by a friendly gentleman wearing a bright red t-shirt and a crab hat. He took our order and processed our payment, which I found to be quite reasonable given the quality of the ice cream. We both chose two scoops of Pumpkin Cheesecake Ice Cream served in a waffle cup. Ryan, the same person who took our order, prepared our ice cream and brought it to the pick-up window. Once I took my first bite, I was blown away by the rich flavor and creamy texture! I savored every mouthful and can't recommend this place highly enough to fellow ice cream lovers. You won’t be disappointed; instead, you'll be amazed by the flavors and eager to return and share the experience with your friends!
My family and I have been loyal customers of Bruster's for many years, enjoying their ice cream at locations from Pennsylvania to North Carolina, and now here in Roanoke. However, I had an unfortunate experience last spring when I was overcharged for my order. I was informed that my debit card needed to be re-swipe because the previous transaction didn't go through. When I checked my online banking, I discovered that I had actually been charged twice. I understand that mistakes happen, but I've reached out to this Bruster's location via email at least 20 times and haven't received a response. Where is the customer service? I believe this was an honest mistake, but Bruster's needs to address this issue and make it right.
