Baja Cantina - Roanoke

Great food, but servers weren't communicative about what they were going to grab from the table and awkwardly just reached around you.

We eat here enough that it's probably my #1 for Mexican food (partially that's due to one of my previous faves, Pulido's, no longer existing). My only wish is a slightly less spicy salsa option! I are at the Watauga recently and it was spicy but not quite as much as this and the NRH location! Haven't been to the Keller one yet. This is also probably the most aesthetically pleasing location because of the interior and being in downtown Roanoke. Certainly a regular for us now!

Definitely recommend!! All the food we ordered was amazing. Large portions, Especially the quesadillas. Seemed slightly short staffed but still got our food quickly. And our waiter was very attentive. We will be back!

We used to go there a lot because it had a great patio and decent food. However, the service is awful. We waited for chips and didn’t get any till we asked. We saw customers around us wait to be waited on while the manager and other servers kept walking past them. The manager never came to inquiry about our service. Are waiter brought out drinks, water and our food at the same time. Horrible service considering there are plenty of Mexican restaurants to choose from in Roanoke.

Always love going here for the food and drinks. The best margaritas I've had in the area.
