The Grub Hub - Roanoke Rapids

I used to enjoy coming here when they actually cared, now a days they are getting lazy and falling off. A lot of times they’re not open during regular scheduled hours too. Went just tonight and got two hotdogs with onions, mustard and cheese. . .which must’ve been thrown in the microwave cause I swear it was up and ready in 4 mins flat. Cheese on the hotdogs was cold as ice and the hotdogs didn’t taste fresh. Fries were okay. Banana pudding was also a miss. I hope they get it together, used to be my go to spot.

Fantastic service. Great location with ample parking. My 9 year old loved the chicken wings (better than all the other fried chicken people). The Bourbon Buffalo wings might have been the best sauce I’ve ever had. Prices are just right. You can find great better food made with real heart if you stray away from the interstate and main drag and head down to the Hub.

Good food, kind people, but they don’t know how to charge and operate very well. ordered a sandwich and paid for it, then they didn’t even have it so had to order a cheeseburger instead, which is no problem, except they then proceed to charge me for the burger even after already paying for the sandwich they didnt have.

1st time visit. Went with garlic parmesan wings. Wasn't disappointed. Cooked perfectly. Flavorful and delicious.

I ordered from there yesterday. very friendly staff, very Southern, felt at home. I ordered the shrimp basket with fried corn. My order came to $11 and change not too expensive. I brought the food to work for lunch so food had to be reheated. food was still delicious. I want to try the shrimp and grits one day when I can just take home and eat.
