The Old Spaghetti House Robinson's Otis

Had lunch here, ordered their crispy fried chicken that's served w/ salad, waffle w/ maple syrup mashed potato. Wait time was quite long considering there were not much clients that time (see another person's review). After following up, my order was served. Sooo disappointing bec the waffle mashed potato were both cold. The waffle even tasted like a left over food the previous night. My first last time to dine here. Swear!

Real cozy. I loved the pesto but found it to be a tad too oily. Saw a rat running around once, I hope it wasn't the chef checking up on the customers.

Soups: 5, I like the Spinach Soup the Best Appetizers: Mozzarella sticks: 4, Otis branch serves it fresh, but I've been to other branch that don't Fried wonton: 3, they're just oily chips saved by the yummy cheese dip Bacon croquette: 4, fluffy with good sauce, would've been 5 if there were more bacon inside Meatballs in spinach sauce: 1, very small so they're not for sharing, too salty Specialty Pasta: Vietnamese Garlic (w/ w/o shrimp : 3, I like the taste but not filling enough, too few shrimps Pesto: 3, delicious pesto but missing protein Pesto w/ chicken: 4, (see Pesto Classic lasgna: 3, it's delicious, but nothing too special Penne w/ Chicken Inasal: nothing special Red Sauce: Bolognese: 3, delicious and filling but too oily Meatballs: 4, the size of the meatballs are worth the price White Sauce: Carbonara: 4, creamy, add some red flakes for a kick Tuna fettucine: 3, maybe it's just me I didn't like the tuna w/ peas Entrée: Pan grilled chicken: 3, nothing special, a bit dry American spareribs: 4, the cheese made it interesting, filling US beef salpicao: 4, great beef, would've been 5 but too few beef compared to rice Fish fillet: 4, nice subtle cucumber sauce, best eaten while hot so the fish is still crispy, so eat fast Half roast chicken: 2, serving size is actually too small for sharing, dry, couldn't taste the rosemary and lemon Basically all red sauce tastes similar, and all white sauce tastes similar. If you're in a group of friends and want to taste a bit of everything, don't order from the same pasta group. Their current mix-and-match promo of pasta-meal gives a good selection for P150.
