Another update, wife and kids waited 20 minutes for iced coffees March 24 and they were the only car in the drive-thru. Staff were friendly. Don't bother asking me to fill in the contract form I've already spent enough of my time waiting for drinks and writing these reviews. Update, visited the same store Nov 23 for takeaway with a car full of people and ordered a large order. Staff were friendly, but later when we opened the bag we realised half the order was missing. It was late and the store was closed so we made do with what we were given. That night I logged into the Carl's App and filled out the online form with the details about the missing food items. Some days later I logged back in to check for a response but there wasn't one. I searched my emails for a response but couldn't find one. I left it a few more weeks to check for a response and tried logging into my app but couldn't. I tried to reset my password but the app popped up with a message saying my account didn't exist. For that reason I've taken away the stars from the Service option above based on my poor customer service experience. Previous review below The hand breaded chicken burger I purchased was very nice. Unfortunately, the cheeseburger I purchased from the snack menu looked like someone stepped on it and slid off to one side. The staff were friendly. Best burgers and fries I have tasted in years and the service was excellent and free refills of soft drinks if dining in. Solid alternative to National burger chains. Grilled meat for flavour and a bread roll that tastes like bread and not cake. Enjoyed them and will definitely get more when passing through. Partner and I waited 35 mins for our food to come out, and we watched people who ordered after us receive and finish their meal in that time. When I followed up with them, that’s when they started preparing our food. Burgers were cold and the bread seemed super stale. Won’t be coming back.
