Bidra med feedbackGood food and good service. Def would recommend their sausages. Not too salty yet delicious and juicy! I didn't order so not too sure what types of meat we got but the ribs were delish too. All the meats were so yummy I don't think you can go wrong here:
This place rocks, hands down the best barbecue I've had in the DMV! The pulled pork sandwich was great and the hot sauce they have is just explosive with heat and flavor. I'm not normally a coleslaw guy but I ate the whole container and thought about going back for more. The only downside were the green beans which were pretty dry and grainy but they have a ton of other options for sides. I got my order to go but they have abundant seating both indoors and out. It's also really cool watching them cut your meat right in front of you. Definitely a place I can see myself frequenting.

I'm a fat kid from Texas so I feel some type of way about BBQ: pork ribs were decent 4 5 stars. Didn't make me think for a moment I needed to slap my mama they were so good but a very nice pork spare rib. Cornbread is a 2 5. Too sweet. Probably has enough sugar to qualify as cake. Sweet potato casserole mashed sweet potatoes, eh. 2.5 5. Chopped beef brisket sandwich. 4 5. It was good. Pleasantly good. Brisket could have been a little juicer, but the regular BBQ sauce pickles The beans 2.5 5. The beans do have real chunks pieces of brisket in them but lack soul, savoryness and sustenance. The Keylime pie was a solid 1 5. Semi frozen. Waay too tart. The whip cream tasted like mayonnaise had a baby with extruded cardboard. The crust was the biggest let down. As though ChatGPT gave them the recipe for gram cracker crust based on its mama's own recipe. It was just all wrong. And for $6.50 a slice, do not recommend at all. The root bear was excellent. Highly recommend. Also, the outside seating was great. Yes, a wasp showed up to eat. But everyone needs to at least try their BBQ at least once. In summary, this is really good BBQ for DC. However, it can't beat any gas station BBQ in Texas.
