Spready Oak Country Cafe - RISING SUN

I loved this place. today on the way home from delaware with the family stopped on a bite and we just loved him! the waitress was wonderful and attentive and the food was cooked to home and absolutely delicious and there was more than we could begin to finish. our waitress took time and got several with to house container for us. very pleased and would go again if I traveled in this opposite. not to mention the history of the oak . everything in al i was very satisfied and would certainly recommend to stop if they are in the opposite!.

This is a lovely spot to enjoy a home-cooked meal at an affordable price. Regardless, I would suggest visiting when they are not too busy.

Lexi was my waitress and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. She seemed to know most of the patrons by name, as many appeared to be regulars. Since today is St. Patrick's Day, they had corned beef and cabbage on the menu. I had a fantastic breakfast after dropping off my dog at a 'sit means sit' training facility.

We ordered the speck cheese burger with fries and coleslaw, along with a side of sweet potatoes. Everything was fantastic! The daughter and mother who took our order were very kind. A special shout-out to the chefs!
