Nori Ramen Sushi - Rio Rancho

This restaurant is average. It is clean and quiet (on a Wednesday evening). My tuna poke bowl, miso soup, and jasmine tea were okay. The service was decent. It seems like they are content with just being okay. The menu is partly handwritten and has clearly been edited a few times. Why not just print out a new menu? The waitress suggested that the cup of miso soup was complimentary because I inquired about it, not because it is customary with a sushi order like at other restaurants. My $20 poke bowl was mostly rice. I was not a fan of the radio station playing with lots of annoying ads. Meh.

I happened to come across this restaurant by chance and was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service. The lady who welcomed me was very kind, and the restaurant is located in a safe area. They also have a great variety of delicious food to choose from.

The service could use improvement, as it was slow and unattentive. However, the atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant and inviting.

Wish I’d read reviews before I got here. I’ve eaten at many Sushi places throughout the country and this is by far the worst. They charge $3.50 for miso which is generally offered with the meal. Not to mention the flavour was far different than most. Sushi was way over priced $13.99 for Spivey salmon roll and 8.99 for Nigiri Tuna do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for sushi craving ! Heard this place was good so my husband and I stopped by for lunch. We aren't rude to waiting staff by texting during the process. who does not know when to put down their phone? So it went really smooth. The pork fried teriyaki was nothing short of incredible.
