Angu Do Gomes - Rio de Janeiro

Walking in, I didn't realise hide and seek was entertainment for a restaurant. The food was ok but not of value. Being a part of staff conversation across the room was fun too!

An institution in Rio. Long lines to secure a tabke, but worthy

Do you like waiting 50 minutes for undercooked chicken? Are you a dedicated devotee of rude service and surly waiters? Then don't hesitate! Angu do Gomes is the place for you. Even by the undemanding standards of Rio de Janeiro, the service here is unredeemably terrible. The food is dire, let's not talk about it. This place needs a new owner and new management. Preferably someone who knows how to run a restaurant. The current lot have no idea.

Good burger only, everything else was bad. Hygiene, very very slow service, overpriced, bad waiters, why would you serve 2 fries to a single person!

Adoramos o almoço no Angu do Gomes primeiro pela localização no centro do Rio de Janeiro que tem uma magic especial. Or atmosphere é muito agradável tanto pelo público quanto pelos garçons e trabalhadores. O garçom que nos atendeu foi muito simpatico. Puxou assunto, fez brincadeiras sem be invasive. We asked for a feijoada e um against filé. Both foram bem served and quite flavorful. Or turkey turrets dry bem and corn. Foi uma otima experiência culinária.
