Eat Rio Food Tours - Rio de Janeiro

Probably one of the coolest tours I’ve ever been on! Eat Rio! With guide extraordinar Tom Le Mesurier! We went off the beaten path to try some exotic Brazilian fare! Great time had by all!

The perfect way (and amazing value) to start your visit to Rio and get acclimated to the area with the help of an experienced, welcoming guide. We had a wonderful time learning about local culture, Brazilian food, history, and walking through streets that felt like actual neighborhoods. Marcella took us (a group of 11 in total, who we joined as couple) out on a food tour! What a fantastic day we had, loved to explore the local food, the tropical fruits, the excellent caipirnha's and to end the tour in a real hidden gem (where we even returned the next day for lunch as we were so impressed by it) Biggest surprise was returning back with some new friends from around the globe! Fantastic day in Rio!

I had an AMAZING time on the tour with Gabriel. Definitely the highlight of my trip to Brazil. I've never been on a food tour before, but now I will be looking them up in every place I go. What a great way to see a city and experience the culture. I'm just afraid I'll be disappointed with my future tours because I'll be comparing them to this one.

This is a must do when in Rio! Our guide Tom was hilarious and super knowledgeable about the local fruits, food and drinks of Brazil. I felt like a local walking around going to the different places experiencing things like locals do. This tour showed me how warm and welcoming Brazilian people are. There is a surprise at the end of the tour that you will get a kick out of! I 100% recommend anyone do this tour at the beginning of your stay. Thanks Tom!
