Bio&bio - Rijeka

As a vegan and healthy food lover we were very happy to find this shop and do some serious shopping opportunities in this country, dominated by meat and fish restaurants. extremely large selection of healthy eating and friendly staff! Go on!

An small organic supermarket with fresh fruits, vegetables and plenty of vegan products (food, cosmetics, books). Good vegan ice coffees, snacks, sandwiches, ice creams, etc.

I wanted to go to the only vegan restaurant in the city but it was closed that day so I landed in this shop and I have to admit it is pretty great. They have a lot of vegan snacks like sandwiches, wraps and cakes. Quite a big selection! So if you want to grab something for lunch or just a snack there will be plenty of options for you there including a traditional Croatian cake Madarica.

Beautiful store with all organic products, especally great selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. Very cozy atmosphere and helpfull staff.

I grabbed a few sandwiches, ice cream and cakes from Bio while I was in Rijeka. They’re good not the greatest but certainly worth trying when in Rijeka (especially given the lack of vegan options in the area). Prices are a bit high compared to non vegan restaurants in the area, but not drastically higher.
