Bidra med feedbackOn our way to Toronto, we stopped by LaValle's Italian Garden, which is located in The Royal Inn. When we arrived, the staff asked if we wanted to sit in the lounge or dining room. After placing our drink order, our server Diana brought us a basket of warm Italian White Bread, which was served with Sun Glow European style butter blend and olive oil dipping sauce with grated parmesan and salt. Diana was efficient and paid attention to detail. For appetizers, we shared an order of the Steamed Mussels, which consisted of mussels cooked in a salty garlic herb butter broth. Four of the mussels in the bowl were already dead and sealed shut. My parents shared a Caesar Salad and Chicken Marsala. The Caesar Salad consisted of fresh romaine lettuce tossed with croutons and parmesan cheese in creamy and garlicky caesar dressing. The Chicken Marsala consisted of tender chicken breast sautéed with fresh mushrooms and garlic in a marsala wine sauce. It came with sautéed vegetables, Ham Potato Dumplings soup, and crispy Sweet Potato Fries. The Ham Potato Dumplings soup reminded me of a blander version of a Potato and Leek soup. I enjoyed the Chicken Francese, which consisted of a seasoned egg battered boneless chicken breast cooked in a lemony beef broth. It came with sautéed vegetables, house salad with Balsamic Vinegar, and baked sweet potato with whipped butter and brown sugar on the side. Since we were tight on time, we couldn't stick around for dessert. Vegetarian options: Stuffed mushroom caps, three points pretzel, beer battered French fries, bruschetta, onion rings, spinach salad, Caesar salad, small tossed salad, fettuccine alfredo, stuffed shells formaggio, gnocchi, jumbo cheese ravioli, beyond burger, white pizza flatbread, four cheese flatbread Parking: Hotel parking lot Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
The room was clean. Small bathroom, but it worked. A/C worked well. The beds were solid, but were good for me. Older establishment. Breakfast was packed pastries and cereal boxes. Lady who worked at the reception for check-in was nice.
This is an older motel, with some room updating. It is located in a small town, not far from the Elk Viewing Visitor Center and Elk herd sightings. No frills, nice for the price, will definitely stay again. Attached to an expensive restaurant. Meals are delicious and generous.
This place was straight out of a horror movie. The room smelled like mold, the air conditioner in the room was soo dirty it wasn?t even blowing air, the carpets looked like they haven?t been cleaned in years and were sticky, there was blood on the light bulb in the bathroom, we immediately stripped the bed and found some questionable stains, legit would rather sleep in my car before ever sleeping here again. I?m surprised this place is still running as is I think a health inspection is in order.
A quiet old place, we always have a small vacation/ road trip in the fall we start at benezette, then go up to the Kinzua Bridge State Park, then over to Leonard Harrison state park and we always stay here 1 night, yes the rooms could use and update and the showers are small but it's part of our tradition and we love old things and this place is perfect . Also the owners seem nice, my debit card wasn't working and I only had cash on me the one time we stayed i was about $8 short but the ower said it was fine and handed us the key, we haven't eaten here yet but have heard the food is good, we normaly go down to ridge way to a Joey's bakery for breakfast.
