Mcalister's Deli - Ridgeland

The food used to be good when the restaurant was located at Pear Orchard, but now it is a visually appealing establishment with poor service and mediocre food. It is not worth your time. If you have a craving for McAlister's, it would be faster to drive to Madison where the food is better.

The staff at this McAlister's Deli are fantastic! They are extremely friendly, competent, and genuinely happy to serve you. The food was outstanding, prompt, and presented exactly as ordered. We tried three different dishes, all of which were exceptional. We also applaud the availability of gluten-free bread. This restaurant comes highly recommended.

I placed an order for over $70 at this restaurant and was extremely disappointed. One club sandwich looked like it was made by a blind 3 year old (messily scattered and folded bread in a small box), and another sandwich was missing altogether. After a 40-minute round trip to the restaurant and back, followed by a 10-minute wait in line, I was at least expecting a decent meal. Unfortunately, I was let down by the terrible quality of the food. My own dish was inedible, someone else received a disgusting sandwich, and everyone else agreed that their meals were subpar. This is not the first time I've had issues with this restaurant, and I anticipate the same lack of response from the management. I advise others to steer clear of this establishment.

I was at this place maybe 4 times and the customer service is terrible every time. this is my last time back to this place. Today I have entered a whole group of team members on the front. No one has greeted me. cool, that's good, ordered my food. never said that I wanted to place a To-Go order, nor asked the lady. She asked for my name, I didn't think I was sitting down and I heard that my name was called so that I looked up that they made my order. Well, that's good, I guess I'll just take it home and eat it. I asked for a cup of honey, and the young lady asked if I would take brown scab. if I asked that they didn't have honey screed, she said "good it is 0.54 cents" I'm like ummm okay no problem, I can pay 0.54 cent, with confusion I wonder I look like I can't afford 0.54 cent? then I come home to eat my food and open it to the 0.54 cent honey screed to hardly half full! what as manager/steam manager apparently screamed at the workers on the back about having died with their man on the parking lot while waiting to be greeted or to take my order. only very unprofessional and very ignorant employees, and perhaps I add that was about 19 o'clock, so it is not the morning crew.

Hands down the worst McAlister’s I have ever gone to. Every time I order my nacho basket something is wrong. Either I get BEEF chili instead of veggie chili or my extra rotel is missing. I tried calling my order in this time, no one answered the phone. Waited 30 mins for my order, just for it to be wrong. Worker in the back wanted to argue with me over accuracy of my order. The manager was apologetic about it and tried to supplement the worker’s rudeness for a free dessert. I’m not sure if this location is run by high schoolers, but professionalism and urgency is not their specialty. I will be taking my business to the location on northside drive from this point forward. This location is too new to be this awful.
