Starbucks - Richmond Upon Thames

Unfortunately, this Starbucks location is in need of a complete overhaul. The atmosphere is nice, but the lack of cleanliness is shocking. Tables are not frequently wiped or cleared, and we have to request it. The biggest issue is the state of the restrooms...they are extremely dirty, with deep-seated grime on the doors, walls, and sink. The bins are overflowing and there is no visible cleaning schedule. This is not a job for young staff to handle with just a quick wipe down. I contacted head office, and they initially sent two coffee vouchers, but the problem was not resolved. After sending photos, I received no response. It is important for someone to give this place a thorough cleaning and improve its appearance. This location is frequented by both locals and tourists, and this is not the impression we want to give. We will not be returning, as we prioritize our health.

The Starbucks location we visited had typical coffee and service, but we were disappointed to find no bins available to clear our table. The muffins were served in bags because the dishwasher was broken, so all items were disposable. The seating was comfortable, but the only toilet available was dark with dark green decor. The hand dryer was positioned in a way that caused water to accumulate on the floor. The sink was visibly dirty with traces of black mold around the plughole and tap bases. Despite being a busy cafe, it is important for them to maintain hygienic facilities. Overall, the cleanliness of the cafe was poor.

A bit expensive, but always worth it. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is peaceful and conducive to getting work done. The interior is clean.

Staff were great…place was dirty tired…Starbucks so need to refurb this venue…toilets were filthy and needed to be cleaned.

Dreadful experience. Very unfriendly staff. After ordering was told that could only pay with contactless card unless I wanted to tell my pin to the cashier for them to enter (which I assume is illegal, unprofessional to say the least). Completely messed up order. Drink wrong and pastry stale. All witnessed by incompetent female manager, who failed to even apologise. Returned home to find I had been overcharged and presented with the wrong receipts. Abysmal service and will be sure to never return here
