Cafe Masala - Richmond Upon Thames

Our group of 5 people received the wrong drinks, no cutlery or teller for poppadams and frozen samosas for starters. then waited another hour to be served with cold Tandoori chicken, which the head waiter with "good, what do they want me to do?" finally presented with the wrong bill, then when the right bill came, the returned cold huh was on the bill. when we offered to pay for what we had, we were greeted with a lot of abuse, threats from the kitchen staff, and finally said that we had f*k out. all in front of a crowded restaurant.

I had a confirmed reservation, but when we arrived, we were met with rudeness like I have never seen before. They were very nice when it's not a rugby day, but they become arrogant and rude when they are busy. I would advise staying far away. The service was extremely poor.

Visited with friends on the Tuesday for banquet evening, £14.95 a head, chose a starter, porn, side. what a bargain, all cooked fresh, tasty and generous portion. prawn purée was super tasty, huh tikka juicy and sizzling. very recommend this restaurant, the prices are so reasonable. even on a banquet night. personal attentive and friendly. they even have a huge cocktail list. in any case will go back, please give them an attempt.

Food was incredible, staff were attentive and friendly, best curry we’ve had in a long time. Would highly recommend it.

Sam has made an excellent recommendation of dishes based on my preference, it’s a nice place with excellent food and services, will definitely return!
