Bidra med feedbackI didn’t catch his name, but a man behind the bar did me a huge favor. I am an Amazon Delivery worker and I was nearby, didn’t know anywhere else to fill my flask with cold water. Went inside and asked and he filled it up for me with ice cold water on a very hot day. Will forever be thankful.
About serve obvious regulars, one of which went to get into his car, then smash into my car... then take off! Reports to Richmond Heights Police, who pointed out that this is not the first time someone reports this same.
The post has recently renovated and they are now able to serve food! On Tues they have Taco Tuesday, where they grill pork, chicken and fish and have freshly made Guac, Kohlslaw and other toppings. For the last visit (Nov 10, 2020) the Tacos were also super affordable at $ 2 per piece! You also have Quesadillas and Mexican maize. You can order your meal with corn tortillas for gluten-free experience (fish tacos are not GF, but the rest can be). On Friday during the Lent they held a fish rog. You also work to add additional meals to Thurs. To date, they had a Polish style of keelbasa and potatoes, a meat lamb and beef stew on various weeks. As always there is the bar. With the renovations, the interior no longer smells like cigarettes. They moved smokers to a covered outdoor space. The beer is well priced and surprisingly good selection with your standard AB products along with some local craft brews UCBC and 4 hands were on the tap on our last visit. When the weather is beautiful, they have a table and chairs outdoors and socially removed. Inside they have limited seats. For the food service we could sit at the tables in the hall and be socially removed.
Great vfw bartenders are always friendly. They have adapted to the covid and will do temp checks of patrons. Good job vfw 3500.
My group wound up booking the backroom for our party, and we had a blast!!
