Nuvegan - Richmond

Was my first vegan experience and the food was so good I couldn’t tell it wasn’t meat. I got the chicken sandwich with mambo sauce and my wife got the Philly cheese steak.Food: 5/5

Delicious fast casual. So tasty! Hubby had chickn drumsticks and Mac-n-cheez and I had Crabcake sandwich, Mac-n-cheez and Greek salad. The BEST vegan Mac-n-cheez I have ever had in 3.5 years! Very positive atmosphere. We were passing through traveling up from NC. Thankful for this place in Richmond!

The food is good and simulates the foods you loved before going vegan like fried chicken, tuna salad, etc. Updated from previous review on 2023-05-21

This is one of a few ALL-VEGAN restaurants in town and it's a gem. Vegan soul food all day! They even have brunch on Sundays. The drummies and the red wine kale salad are my favorite.Vegetarian options: All vegan menu, so everything is also vegetarian.

Stopped in after finding this place on Happy Cow. This is a must stop for any vegan or non vegan. The best collards, sweetpotato and chicken drummies/tenders arround!! The black bean burger ? was fire! I am full and happy. I ordered an extra plate to go. I wish they were closer to me!
