Mission Bbq - Richmond

I paid $14 for a brisket sandwich. Nothing on the sandwich whatsoever no coleslaw no beans whatever. They didn’t even ask if I wanted anything on the sandwich either. So the meat was good and yes it is very high-quality. Would I pay $14 for that little of meat no. And honestly it really sucks because you are getting very high-quality meat but very very little for that price. I wish you could be given a choice of at least a small side, some coleslaw or something along those lines when you having to pay $14 for a single sandwich. I understand if this was a massive barbecue, capital lore, something along those lines, but this is Richmond Virginia, and prices should be fair and inexpensive.

We must have looked very hot and pitiful when we went here for lunch. The cashier/manager took great care of us they let us know which table got the coldest air and brought us complementary desert. Their hospitality was appreciated!Food: 5/5

DISGUSTING!!! Look at the picture and decide if you want to bother ordering from here when it IS INEDIBLE AND GOES STRAIGHT IN THE GARBAGE. That pic is ALL INEDIBLE FAT. I truly NEED my money back.Food: 1/5

This is our Goto spot for fast bbq. You can never go wrong with getting BBQ from here. I do however think they have changed a few things on their menu to include the pulled chicken and the beef brisket since I’ve last been. The changes are food the good. The pulled chicken is much more moist and we now get a choice if the fatty or lean part of the brisket. We also 5 bone spare rib which were extremely tender.Overall of course we would revisit.

Another great meal at Mission last night.This place is hard to beat generous servings of quality hand prepped food, friendly staff… and perfectly patriotic. Pulled pork sandwich is my go to. Sauce options are great.Hoping prices don’t climb much higher so I/we can keep the cadence.Bonus: Pledge of Allegiance at noon!Kid friendliness: My 10 year old is a big fan.
