Cha Cha's Southwest Kitchen - Richmond

The oysters here are exceptional, and the service is top-notch. This restaurant is situated in a vibrant, cosmopolitan area. Both the food and service deserve a solid 5 stars from me, and they delivered impressively quickly.

I visited Cha Cha's Cantina on Wednesday and then dinner on the following Friday, both times excellent service and fantastic food at low prices. The waiting staff was very polite and fun to interact with, during my visit to dinner we were actually waited by the bar-tenders who managed to provide great service, while also drinks for other males. The meal provided at every occasion was quickly prepared and had a fantastic presentation. The groundless chips are delicious and the Happy Hour Drinks are perfectly inexpensive! It seems that most negative reviews about this location are of people who go after 10 or 11:00 and are unhappy with the night life / club atmosphere. As for me, the restaurant side of the company is one of the best places to get food in Richmond at extremely affordable prices for large portion sizes.

My friends and I celebrated their birthday this Saturday, and we almost went from Cha's, but so glad we didn't. It was such a great time: great music and a great crowd! All bartenders were great and Corey at the back bar was super nice and attentive, despite how busy it was. Very recommended if you dance and love good music!

I have to give this place five stars for its service! My friends and I visited on a busy night and had to wait a bit for our drinks. That’s when Santiago swooped in and moved us to a different part of the bar where he took our order. He cracked a few jokes and showcased his bartending skills, making the experience entertaining. It was a blast watching him and chatting with him, which definitely set the tone for a fun night! The music was fantastic too; every song that played was one we loved, making it hard to stop dancing!

They have significantly improved their food recently. I tried the brisket tacos topped with fried onions and guacamole, and they were incredible—especially at just $7 during happy hour. I share the sentiment of others who believe they’re attempting to elevate their menu. Luckily, the prices still remain reasonable.
