Bidra med feedbackThe dining area was quite spacious, yet only three tables were occupied. Instead of seating me away from the other customers, the waitress placed me right next to them, which I found inconvenient. There were two staff members working as waiters, handling both table service and take-out orders. I noticed that they were using the same gloved hands to serve me food immediately after clearing other tables, which was concerning regarding food safety. I ordered the chili pork chop and fried four-season beans, along with two bowls of rice, totaling $28.50. The food was just average. Next time, I think I’ll choose a place that prioritizes better food safety practices.
The food is excellent, but the wait for it to be prepared is quite lengthy.
The food was delicious, featuring authentic Cantonese dishes that you would expect to enjoy in Hong Kong. However, I rated the restaurant three stars due to the price and service. Despite not being very busy on the morning of our visit, it took nearly 45 minutes for our food to arrive. Additionally, I find it hard to justify spending almost $50 for four dishes, especially when the portion sizes were relatively small. The food is excellent if you're willing to pay a premium, but there are many nearby restaurants that offer better value for money.
The Empress chicken lacks flavor and has more bones compared to Neptune's. The congee is quite watery. It's no surprise that there were hardly any customers dining in at 12:30 PM. Even for take-out, I only saw one person place an order. Additionally, their website prices are not updated to match the menu in-store.
The food is absolutely delicious. While the chicken is particularly famous, most of the dishes are excellent as well.
