Red Star Seafood Restaurant - Richmond

Service was impeccable by a Cantonese speaking male wait staff. Food was delicious, dessert soup(green bean soup no photo) was a little too sweet.

I highly recommend their roast duck. Crispy skin with juicy meat. Delicious! The king crab with garlic was steamed perfectly. Wonderful customer service. The servers were attentive and friendly.

This is a great place for dim sum (unsure about dinner. It looks good, though). The service is very attentive and adds to the overall dining experience! I will definitely be coming back here. A+

The workers were rude and unprofessional. Food was awful. I 've never seen anyone **** up dimsum before. I had to spit the food out. It was that bad. The manger (presumably) asked us if we were enjoying the fresh egg tarts. They were not fresh. They were cold and undercooked. You can see a billion air bubbles. The xiao mai had a weird fake truffle thing on it and tasted absolutely awful. The xiao mai wasn 't even cooked all the way. This place is absolutely horrid.

Last Wednesday evening, it was our first visit to this restaurant after covid, but the experience was very unpleasant. After refuse the 'hard sale ' for some dishes (probably more profitable) by the manager that day, the conversation became strange between us. We were even taught by the manager where to put the teapot lol!We have been their customer for many years before the Covid. However, I believe this will be our last time.
