Bidra med feedbackCurries, noodles, fried rice, appetizers! All very, very good. This was my first time here and I will definitely be back. Updated from previous review on 2022-06-04
I just spent all day traveling to Richland for work. I'm tired and I was hungry. Baan Khun Ya was one of the few places close to the place I'm staying that's open on a Sunday. And thankfully, the tofu panang curry is delightful.
Super easy to work with to customize things to be vegan, reasonable price and the food always tastes good. if planning on ordering to go bring your own container to avoid styrofoam.
Traveling through Richland didn't give me any comfort that I'd be able to find any vegan food. My stomach was eating itself and I needed food! I stopped by the Chinese place a little up the road and their menu was a joke, so I drove down the street to this place. It was totally empty and the guy at the counter looked irritated at the prospect of a customer. I ordered Panang Curry, and despite the dismal atmosphere and cranky service, the meal was actually pretty good, if not slightly overpriced. There are several vegan meals on the menu and nearly every dish says you can get meat or tofu. As the options in this town are few and far between I'd say I'd probably go back if ever in the area again.
The place was almost empty and it still took forever for our food to arrive but our food came out 10-15 min apart so we finally encouraged those who had food to start because it was all getting cold. Our server could not answer basic questions and they had cooked chicken in our fresh-rolls which we ordered veggie. Would not go back again.
