Took a little drive (30 mins) to see if the hype was real about the fish fry! It was well worth the drive! Nothing fancy; small town bar that was either gonna be a lesson learned or gold mine! Well, it was a gold mine! The fish was incredible! Four nice-sized pieces, deep fried in a perfect batter. Batter was light and crisp while the fish was fresh and flaky! Strongly recommend giving this little off the grid place a try!
My absolute favorite fish fry in the area, can't be beat!
If you want great fish fry in a typical WI rural bar, this is the place. Nothing pretentious here, just solid food and plenty of beer.
Always a great please for a fish fry. Great people, great drinks and great food.
