Park View Cafe - Rhondda Cynon Taf

I always remember park view fish shop being so nice, popped in last week for takeaway small chips, jumbo sausage and curry sauce. It was very disappointing, chips were anaemia, the sausage was tasteless and the curry sauce wasn’t nice either. I won’t go there again!

Used to love this chip shop and sit down cafe called there today me and my wife had pasty gravy and chips no drinks cost £13 pounds food was nice but the price not so nice

I haven't been to the cafe for years and was out and about so thought I'd take home some supper. I really wanted some faggots peas and chips. I got there and no one was queuing but 3 people were waiting. No faggots so I ordered cod, chips and mushy peas and paid over £12 for this. Not too long a wait but there was a wait and I was eventually given my order. I got home and while the portions were good I wasn't overly impressed. The fish was okay as was the mushy peas but the chips were just awful, just dry and tasteless, in fact I couldn't eat them. So for an okay piece of fish and some mushy peas I paid over £12 never again. Maybe with a change of ownership things will improve but I am in no rush to go back! It is nowhere near the quality it once was obviously the owner has just given up.

Small portions expensive prices even allowing for the present cost of living. Food is ok thought but not better than some local places.

I have always been a fan of this restaurant. However, something has changed recently and it is not working. I found hair in my food and the service was extremely slow.
