Bidra med feedbackGreat ambiance and a good date spot! It gets busy on weekends, so definitely look to reserve a table before you go. The tiki drinks are beautiful, strong, and delicious. The pineapple fried rice was incredible!!! The ramen was a bit sweet, but the braised pork in it was amazing. For dessert we ordered the Mango Experience ? And it was very tasty. This place is definitely one of the better Thai food spots in the DMV!!!
Delectable Thai food in a fun ambience! The restaurant is a delightful decorated tiki style upscale space. Service was prompt in spite of being busy when I visited. I visited with a big group so I had a chance to try a few cocktails and entrees and food was great, although cocktails were below average. I will recommend the panang curry and pineapple fried rice that were my favorites. Especially appreciated that the server was able to accommodate dietary restriction (eveneliminating fish sauce) substituting meats for veggies carefully.
My fiancé and I decided to visit Tiki Thai for date night. The restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing. We had the calamari to start which I did not like. For entrees, I had the Bang Bang Pad Thai which had a good taste but the noodles were too hard for my liking. My partner had the Chumphon Pad Thai which he enjoyed. I also tried a pink drink (I forget the name)which was not bad but too much ice. another drink (came with Gin I think) which was good. Overall its a cutespot and opens late. I would try happy hour next time.
I visited Tiki Thai for the first time. We were welcomed with a smile and guided to our table. The server was very friendly and polite and helped us with our questions about drinks. The ambience was cozy and full of love, with Valentines around the corner. The food was tasty, piping hot and scrumptious. We all left the restaurants with smiles and fully belly after a hearty dinner. A definite recommendation for thai cuisine lovers.
This review is mostly for the one item I got that was simply horrible. Don’t order the Coconut Shrimp. It was golden on the outside and tasted like pure breading on the inside. Tasted cheap and def subpar quality. Sat in the bar area and barely was noticed. No ask on refills of drinks or water until I got up to ask one of the bartenders and finally got service. In the words of Randy Jackson, “it’s a no for me, dawg!” On, almost forgot.. the Painkiller#2 also avoid.. the pain was the insane amount of ice and the lack of flavor. Had better!
