Ted's Bulletin - Reston

Called ahead to inquire about gluten sensitive options. Was assured on the phone AND again when I arrived that they would use a clean grill for my food and would do a glove change. I ordered steak and eggs with a side of potatoes. The steak was rubbery so not very well cooked BUT very well seasoned which helped. HOWEVER…imagine my disappointment (and dread) when halfway through my potatoes I unearthed a literal noodle. Remember the gluten allergy?

Consistently good quality food. Nothing super fancy, but never poorly made. Great ambiance. Love having the old B&W movies on the wall in the back. Somewhat of a southern spin on many of the dishes. The main entrees are still good even though the primary dishes are breakfast foods

Great brunch! Food was excellent, especially the cheddar grits, yummy! The cocktails are all crafted with fresh ingredients! Staff is so friendly! Highly recommend them for brunch. It is also family friendly.

My coworkers and I went there one evening in the winter. I had their Chilli with cornbread and Brussels sprouts which was the balm. I also enjoyed a shared devil eggs. I'm very picky, but really enjoyed myself so much that I'll be going back there with my Family. The service was great and the staff, although busy. Attended to us.

Having gone through a large chunk of the menu during lunch, I have to say I have not been impressed with the quality of food at Ted 's. There are a couple items that I do frequent for lunch, such as the grilled cheese and tomato soup and their fries, which are all great! However, I was not impressed by the chicken parmesan, meatloaf, Nashville hot chicken, chicken 'n ' biscuits, or even their burgers. For some reason I have found those meals to be quite bland, just lacking flavor. I will say I have not gone through a lot of their all-day breakfast offerings, but they do look really good when I see other people ordering them.
