La Madeleine - Reston

I’ve never dined in here but ordered from the bakery several times. Got some crepes today along with pastries but was greatly disappointed in the crepes. They were ok but half the portion I would expect for $11. I give the crepes 1 star but have had many positive bakery experiences.

This restaurant chain has the most delicious sandwiches. Prices are mid-range and well worth the cost. Food tastes fresh each time. Friendly staff. There are a few tables outside in the back for outdoor dining. I wish there were more since they tend to fill up quickly! You can find ample free parking right out front.

Great food! I have been eating there for over 10 years and food is always well prepared and delicious

Got some lunch from here. 2 salad samplers, the French dip, and some desserts. We 've been here a lot over the years, don 't really remember there ever being an issue with the food. Getting the salad sampler is a chance to have a lighter lunch. BUT today, I put the cheese on my potato soup, and it 's MOLDY!! I 'm not even going to eat the soup because I already stirred some of the cheese in and I 'm highly allergic to mold. Ugh so disappointed!! I never would expect this from La Madeleine. Everything is usually so fresh. 3 stars to even out the fact I want to give them 0 stars for today, but they 're usually on point with a 5. So 3 stars. Edit: what a ridiculous response from the owner. Either they didn 't even bother reading about their moldy food, or they don 't care. If you can 't figure out what you should have done differently by my post, perhaps a new owner would be a good idea.

Tasty food w/$6 mimosas (you get two drinks for the $6), bit of a confusing dining experience on your first visit though. Nice atmosphere as well as staff. Was greeted with a nice bonjour upon entry and beautiful french music while dining.
