Thank you Karmen for a excellent service. Bringing the selection of mezcal to the table for us to choose was over the top cool. I had the baja fried mahi taco and the braised short rib. Both were outstanding! My husband had the carne asada taco and el pastor. He ate his plate clean. Our drinks were the perfect pair for our dinner. Highly recommend.

Reason for visiting: dinner while staying at the Grand Sierra Resort Date/time of visit: Monday night, 7:00 PM Parking: valet, which was free. There's also self parking in case you want to get in and out as you want. Valet was slow but friendly Party size: 5 Environment/ambience: was fun, busy. TVs everywhere for the game; no sound though. Not too big of a place. We had to wait 15 minutes for a table. Smaller parties probably get in faster. Restaurant is inside the resort/casino. Service: Hostess at the front was friendly and tried to get us in faster. Our server was friendly and came around often; seems like a cool dude. Food: I split the combination fajita platter with my brother; we still didn't finish it, haha but we weren't that hungry. Came with shrimp, chicken, steak, fajita veggies, rice, and corn tortillas but flour tortillas were an option too. Also had a strawberry margarita. The fajita platter was great. The strawberry margarita was good but it's more like a dessert; it comes with a spoon. The complimentary salsa and chips were good too. Cost: $150

I don't get negative reviews... room service for $31 for combination platter, it was good... i only gave 5 starts to help out... true Rating would be 4 stars... awesome chips and salsa, good guacamole, good meat, good sides... I wish they provided more tortillas... although I don't eat them, but 3 not enough for volume of food you get. honestly I would eat here again without question... yes, drinks are too expensive, that should be fixed

So disappointed in the food! We ate here last November and we were very pleased.The fish tacos were so great! So much food we all had leftovers.Tonight we couldn?t believe how different the experience was. Charge for chip refills at a Mexican restaurant? The $16 margaritas were weak and served in water glasses filled with ice! Chicken tacos were small with hardly any meat and the beans and rice were cold and dry. The fish tacos weren?t the same at all! Small portion and also served with cold dry beans and rice. So disappointing.

Despite the craziness of a convention going on, and the long wait time, I was nicely greeted, seated and served quickly. Food was good as well, and the dessert the server recommended me (the pineapple flan) was delicious too!
