Sushi Sake - Reno

A hidden gem in The Row! We sat at the bar and ordered nigiri, sushi, and drinks, and everything was fantastic! The Salmon Popper roll, in particular, was outstanding. The martini was perfectly balanced—not too strong—with just a hint of sweetness. The service was excellent, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone in need of a quick sushi fix!

I always choose to sit at the counter because the chef is incredibly friendly and has a great sense of humor. We always have a wonderful time chatting with him and the other diners next to us. The atmosphere here is very welcoming. I absolutely love the sushi—it's thickly sliced, with just the right amount of rice, and the sashimi is always fresh. The sake selection is quite good too; we particularly enjoy the Kyoto sake and even took a bottle back to our room (they'll package it nicely for you to take along). The service is always friendly. I highly recommend sitting at the counter if you get the chance!

On the bright side, the salmon popper roll was AMAZING! The combination of jalapeños, cream cheese, and seafood was fantastic. I could have easily had two of those because it was so delicious. We also ordered tuna sashimi, which was fresh and delightful. By the time we finished eating, the place was packed, and we noticed several parties waiting to be seated. We had to wait about 10 minutes for the server to bring us our bill. I can’t fault the servers too much, as it seemed they were also covering the Roxy Steakhouse. Just be prepared for a wait. Overall, I would come back and stick to the fresh rolls next time.

Fresh, amazing and great quality sushi in the middle of Eldorado. Seriously amazing sushi with great staff.

First time for sushi! Went with a friend who dines here often. Not sure what to expect, but willing to try. Ok, that did it....I'm completely hooked! The chef was so friendly, the staff was busy but extremely helpful, pleasant and accommodating. Fun atmosphere! Can't wait to return and branch out to a couple more menu options.
