Bidra med feedbackWe booked this place couple of days in advance. The ambience is cozy, love the fireplace. They have a nice wide collection of wines. Loved the small menu, made it easier to choose. The firecracker cauliflower was the favorite, it was delicious, not too spicy not too sweet, well balanced. The airline chicken was a little disappointing, the flavors were good but the chicken wasn?t tender, it was a little rubbery. The pilaf that come on the side was tasty. Service was great. Overall 4/5 experience. Will come back to try other dishes.
My boyfriend and I went here for the first time and absolutely loved our experience. Our server was Steven. He was new to his position and was polite, attentive, and thorough. We both work in restaurants and were impressed with his service. I have an intolerance to nightshades, and he checked everything in my order to make sure I could have it. On things he was not sure about he asked his manager, and she came over and talked to me about the ingredients. She was also fantastic, very professional and friendly (I didn?t get her name, she had red hair. The staff overall was just so welcoming and full of care. It?s a hard time for restaurants right now, and it was amazing to see a crew work so well together. The food was simply perfect, beautiful presentation and AMAZING taste. Their cocktails were just as good, even offering a table side service for traditional absinthe. Ours was done by a young bartender with short blonde hair who was again, so friendly and bright. Overall amazing place, the only regret is that we didn?t go sooner!
We had Mark as our server and he did such an amazing job that I?d go back just for the service. Hostess and the rest of the staff we interacted with were all pleasant people. We started with the meatballs and hummus. For the main course had the broccoli cheddar soup, grilled iceberg salad and tomahawk ribeye. Dessert was the vanilla profiterole. All were well prepared, delicious, and looked beautiful on the plate. Couple stand out parts were the dressing on the salad and the mashed potatoes with the steak. You know they take pride in their food when every part of it is done to perfection. Restaurant ambiance was enjoyable. The music is the right level where you hear it but can still have a conversation. Bar seating could watch the game if they so chose.
This place is really confusing. I couldn't figure out how to purchase food here. They failed at the most fundamental function of a restaurant; the exchange of money for food. Tried to eat here Friday at noon. I figured noon on a Friday would be an acceptable time to visit a restaurant. I saw people dining inside but I didn't want to bother them and ask how they were able to get food so I walked around everywhere, checked out the green house out back. No one approached me or looked in my direction so I had free reign to wander. When I went to go back inside, the door was locked. Shook it a few times but no one came to my rescue. Luckily, the gate was unlocked so I was able to leave. I've heard of poor service, but no service? Come on, really? Especially at $20 a burger. I'd rather go to the McDonald's on Keystone. At least they'll give me food for money.
This is one if the best restaurants in Reno. A hidden jem. We had multiple meals here. The Firecracker Shrimp is a must. Just had the Filet Mignon. Incredibly. Perfection at rare and medium rare. The bartender, Thomas, made are drinks perfect. We are picky on drinks, he listened to what we want and did outstanding.
