Bidra med feedbackI ordered the shrimp and scallop risotto again, and it arrived in just 15 minutes, accompanied by complimentary bread, which is absolutely delicious! Seriously, the bread is to die for. The risotto was cooked to perfection—al dente, cheesy, and not overly saucy at all. The scallops and shrimp were just right. I was so impressed that I finished every last bite! The only reason I rated them three stars is that I dislike the uncertainty of whether I’ll have a good experience at a restaurant. Nevertheless, I plan to return and explore the rest of the menu. I could honestly eat their breadsticks all day long!
This is a pleasant, fast seafood restaurant situated within the Silver Legacy Resort. The space feels open and has a café-like ambiance. We both opted for the shrimp roast. While it may not be the best I've ever tasted, it was definitely flavorful and enjoyable. The meal was accompanied by crackers, breadsticks, and French bread. The atmosphere was nice, and the service was prompt and efficient. However, our server seemed distracted, as we had to wait quite a while for the bill even after requesting it.
What an incredible hidden gem in Reno, Nevada! While wandering through the maze of casinos, we stumbled upon the Pearl Oyster Bar and Grill. I've never had chicken tenders that tasted as good as southern fried chicken on the bone. We were blown away by the amazing flavor of these chicken tenders. They certainly don’t serve the bland chicken strips you’d find at high school cafeterias or Applebee's; instead, they offer delicious, premium food! It reminded me of Las Vegas, where it seems they're incapable of making anything bad. The oysters were fresh and tasted fantastic. Honestly, the service deserves 5 and a half stars! We will definitely be returning to this "littlest big city" in the future, and we can't wait to stop by the oyster bar again!
As for oysters, I don’t share my dozen! On one occasion, I indulged in two plates of scampi and two dozen oysters all by myself. I just love it—pure happiness and contentment. I’ve already booked my room to return in a couple of weeks to reunite with my favorite place that I can't live without. The service at Pearl's is consistently excellent, and the staff is often amazed by how much we order and finish—just two adults and two kids. Now my kids are starting to love this place too! As for the Cioppino, we usually share that dish, but it can sometimes be quite salty. It’s a bit of a hit or miss. While it’s delicious, the saltiness can be a drawback. I’m looking forward to my upcoming visit in a few weeks, where I plan to try the Jambalaya and some of their roast pan items. I’ll be sure to update you after I taste them. Overall, Pearl's is a fantastic place for fresh seafood, and I highly recommend anyone to give it a try, or simply come by for a beer and oysters.
I ordered an oyster shooter, clam chowder, and crab cakes. Unfortunately, the oyster shooter was too thick and disappointing. The clam chowder had no clams in it—seriously, not a single one! The crab cakes were the highlight of the meal, but I had to ask for more tartar sauce because they didn’t provide enough. It's not that the crab cakes tasted fishy; there just wasn't enough sauce. The side salad served with the crab cakes was also disappointing, as about half of it was wilted or spoiled. I paid $18 for the crab cakes, and the salad was old? Really?! On top of that, the service was slow. Given the price, I would recommend dining elsewhere!
