Bidra med feedbackGood address to eat meat (and beef in Rennes. On the other hand, the rates increased considerably in 2-3 years at noon (especially the skewer, which is recurring from day to day... and which is often unavailable... , and a quality that may have been a hair lowered in parallel. Too bad
Bof. ‘indien’ Tartare with good meat but without interesting spices. To feed only, not to taste.
I ate a delicious chicken thigh with semolina and salad and fries, as well as a small hazel coffee. And I enjoyed it
A mixed experience with tasty dishes in L 'Étal d'Edgar J' recently visited the restaurant L 'Étal d'Edgar with my companion and his father for a dinner party. Although our experience was mixed, we still enjoyed some aspects of our meal. When we arrived, we decided to have a glass on the terrace before the opening of the kitchens. Unfortunately, the server seemed not interested in our presence, which gave us a fairly mixed first impression. However, we decided not to let this ruin our evening and decided to install ourselves inside for dinner. We returned to a very well decorated restaurant. We were placed near the window because the server very conscientiously wanted to make us enjoy the outside despite the rain that started. The flowers on the table offered me a very pleasant fragrance throughout the meal. As far as the dishes are concerned, we have chosen a varied choice. I ordered a tartare, being quite demanding in tartare. I must say that this one was excellent and fully satisfied my taste buds. The meat was fresh, seasoned and perfectly prepared. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this dish. My companions chose a burrata crispy salad and a vegetarian burger respectively. Although they enjoyed their dishes, they found them simply good, without being suffocated. The salad was fresh and very generous. The crunchy burrata added an interesting texture with grilled peppers and the Serrano charcuterie was of first quality. As far as vegetarian burger is concerned, it was well prepared with balanced, very tasty flavors and well above many vegetarian burgers but perhaps it was missing a distinctive touch to make it truly memorable for my friend, who found it not sufficiently garnished. All dishes were served on slate plates. One of the positive points of our experience was the price. With a total of only 17 euros per person, we found that the value for money was more than reasonable. The portions were generous and the quality of the ingredients used was very satisfactory. However, it seems that we have had luck since most other dishes are much more expensive but this is a justified complement to the quality of the ingredients. With regard to the service, apart from the initial warm welcome, the rest of the dinner went very well with the waiter who was attentive and courteous. The dishes were served quickly with professionalism. Overall, our experience at the restaurant L 'Étal d'Edgar was mixed. Although the tartar I ordered was excellent and the price was affordable, the other dishes were simply satisfactory. I hope that the establishment will give more attention to the reception of customers in the future in order to guarantee a more enjoyable and consistent experience from start to finish.
Good cooking, but a little expensive. Near the train station, which is convenient
