Donnie's Diner - Reeds Spring

We visited Donnie's Diner a few times and found the food acceptable for a quick breakfast. However, after our most recent experience, we will not be returning. While we were dining, my wife noticed a cockroach crawling on the wall next to her. We were quite far from the kitchen, and if there are cockroaches this far away from food preparation areas, I can only imagine how bad things must be closer to the kitchen. This is the second restaurant in this area that we've encountered that seems to have serious health code violations (the other was Parmesan's Pizza). It makes me wonder if health inspections are even conducted in this area. I'm originally from the other side of Chicago, and if either of these restaurants were located there, they would be shut down immediately!
