Bidra med feedback2.5 overall. We two came for dinner. Though it didn 't affect my rating, in examining the receipt afterwards I learned that All Credit Card Are Subject to a 3% Processing Fee . FOOD: 3.0. (see photos I posted). OK, but if there is a next time I 'll try the pizza. Gnocchi al Sorrentina Risotto with prawns. OK taste that did not live up to the $34 price. Sautéed bell peppers HOUSE WINE: 2.0 $15 a glass. 1.5: House Red was a mix of sangiovese and syrah. A huge disappointment. 2.5: House White was less mediocre. SERVICE: 5.0. She was stretched as the sole server, but did a fantastic while maintaining a cheerful mood. AMBIANCE: 2.5. It was Dec so only the inside seating was available. It was half full and yet so noisy that it was difficult to carry on a conversation without repeating each sentence at a very high volume which only added to the cacophony. I think this was due to the high and hard surfaced industrial ceiling. Pop music at too high volume contributed to the aural punishment. A bit cold inside; we kept our winter jackets on during the meal. Definitely not a spot for a romantic dinner, at least not indoors.
We liked it. Good food, great service. Outdoor seating on a nice day. Party of four, we all liked everything. I'd go again for sure!
Very friendly servers and bussers, so great, efficient service overall. The food is only okay though nothing bad, but quality and quantity is not great, more like what you'd expect if everything cost $10 less per item. For example an appetizer had preserved, not fresh, artichokes and a plastic cup with cocktail sauce so that and the pasta specials felt overpriced, especially for the small quantity.
We tried this restaurant on a whim and it was amazing! We went on national womens day and they gave me a complimentary glass of champagne to celebrate which was a wonderful surprise! Our waitress was super sweet and attentive. We shared the meatball appetizer and the flavor was bold and perfectly seasoned. He got the pesto linguine and I got the tortalini- both were delicious and filling. We would definitely go here again next time we're in town!
Traditional Italian executed beautifully. The focaccia with true balsamic vinegar and olive oil may have been the highlight of the meal for me. The wine was great, and the veal was good, although I cannot recommend the pesto sauce as it is quite heavy and mild in flavor. The accompanying vegetables were prepared very well with flavor all the way through. To finish it off, the tiramisu was soft and chocolatey, although missing some of the coffee flavor I personally hope for.None of my nitpicks stopped me from thoroughly enjoying the meal and the ambiance. Despite being a Wednesday night, the place was still bustling with conversation, but not to a level of hurting your ears.
