We ordered Dal tadka. It was plane moong Dal with no tadka. It was exceedingly expensive at $16. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT!!! Most items are on the higher end in terms of the price for all their dishes. One of the most expensive places for Indians foods I have ever had.
This is my favorite place to eat in Redding. I mostly order to-go but the seating is almost always quiet, which I love. Staff is not only friendly but also attentive, and the food is worth the price. Their butter chicken and dahl pancham are mouth watering and their naan is perfect-especially with their raita and chutney. I recommend this to friends every time they have to go to Redding and are seeking suggestions about local eateries.
Good Indian restaurant in Redding. Nice ambiance, ample parking lots, clean restroom, staff owner very kind. My family liked the food, was cooked as per instructions. Good quantity for the price and best part was packing. They have packed the food in appropriate containers not using any plastic containers for got food. Overall very good place.
If you're seeking for Indian food, this is one of the worst places to go. Chicken biryani, tandoori prawns, chicken curry, and keema roti were on my menu. It looks like sambar rice since the chicken biryani was sautéed with prepared chicken sauce. Raw and fried prawns were served. Raw lamb was put into keema roti. Fish pakora, dal, and rice are the best options. The lady behind the counter was never friendly and had a bad attitude. She continues asking when you may leave before you've finished your meal.
